Welcome to Moms in Security. Our work in supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of human trafficking victims stems from the basic maternal instinct to protect children. We aim to shine light on human trafficking and inspire everyone to do their part. But most of all, it is my hope to place the heart back into the security industry by encouraging our community to rally and support those who are rescuing children from these unspeakable conditions.
With every passing year, we learn more about how to best serve these efforts and continue to grow and evolve especially by connecting law enforcement and other crusaders to the most appropriate technologies. Part of our recent growth has been to collaborate with other non-profits in this space to provide access to training in order that anyone can recognize the warning signs and connect victims with a helpful resource.
Our amazing team of partners and volunteers are committed to the rescue efforts and after care of abused and trafficked children, teens, and young adults. Thanks to the support of the security community, we are making real strides. Our volunteers provide the momentum that helps us make a significant impact.
With each passing day, we remain steadfast in our mission to empower law enforcement and crusaders globally by helping them access innovative technological solutions vital to the recovery and rehabilitation of human trafficking victims. And, to develop a collaborative training platform accessible to all.
There is nothing more heart wrenching than a child or young adult in a tragic situation. And there is nothing more uplifting and heartwarming than seeing them recovered.
Throughout this new website, you can learn about the challenges our world faces in the recovery and rehabilitation of human trafficking victims; explore the evidence-based programs and solutions that support our mission and meet the people who bring our mission and vision to life every day.
We’ve also created exciting ways to engage with us including a convenient online donation portal, regional events, as well as volunteer opportunities.
I hope you will find it in your heart to join us on our journey towards our unified vision where no human or child is ever enslaved. Together, we will persevere.
Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you,
